Following the last Black Orpheus post, I have decided to share the Stan Getz gem from 1962, which covers many of the songs from the film. Gary McFarland's arrangements give Stan plenty of room for his lyrical sax playing, whilst keeping a sense of the ensemble throughout each recording. Smooth, cool and swingin'.
