Kenneth Grahame - The Wind In The Willows
I'm feeling in a prosaic mood at the moment - the spoken word is my mot juste. Here is a recording from the early 60's of everyone's favourite children's book 'The Wind In The Willows'. Lots of plummy British accents as Ratty, Mole, Badger and the gang discover automobiles and river picnics.
Timeless fun even if Mole does sound like Quentin Crisp...
